The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented today on the statements made by Prime Minister Edi Rama in today's episode of his podcast "Flasim".

In his post on social media, Berisha described Rama's statements as another of his deceptions. He further stated that the Albanian economy is in collapse and that food security in the country is almost non-existent.

Among other things, Berisha states that Rama did not say a word about the message of Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha, published in the media, where he referred to the Albanians of North Macedonia as "idiots".

Edi Rama, in his Sunday monologue of deception, once again brought out their series without blushing or turning yellow. He promised to implement a strategic partnership agreement with Greece at a time when, in fact, he allowed the friendship treaty with this country to expire and created a series of major problems that did not exist before.

Secondly, in his monologue, he returned to the mafia package, which he is calling the 'mountain package'. Every Albanian citizen should know that in 2012, the Albanian parliament passed a law according to which all those who invested in the mountainous areas of Albania would be eight years tax-free. One of the first laws that Edi Rama canceled was precisely this law and now he promises facilities for investments in his father's land, at a time when with his cadastre he has made the greatest mess of properties and ownership. He vowed that the mountain package will be an opportunity for residents at a time when he has moved the 'mountain package' to Maminas and the coastal area. In his speech, he promised that there will be facilities for all those who take the initiative to double their enterprise. The truth is that the Albanian economy is in collapse, that agricultural production and industrial production have been in recession for two-three years. The Albanian economy is held by the drug apparatus, the construction sector, with an indicator three times higher than in the European Union.

In his speech, fraud, he focused on food safety. Food safety is almost non-existent in Albania. And this has as its main cause the mafia and only the state mafia. Albania today is the only country that does not have a food safety authority, because Edi Rama dissolved it under the pretext of its malfunctioning. Of course, that authority was, like the other agencies of this country, entangled head to toe in corruption, but its destruction, its disappearance without being replaced with a new authority to fulfill a major obligation such as food safety, is a criminal act.

Finally, I want to say here that he did not say a single word, although he stopped at the United Arab Emirates, relations with Greece, but he did not say a single word about the insult, about the anti-Albanian stance of his deputy in foreign policy, in which in an irresponsible, shameful, anti-Albanian act, the Albanian citizens of North Macedonia are evaluated as idiots. Edi Rama's silence and lack of reaction proves that this statement by his Foreign Minister is his message and directly related to him, since the truth is that this reaction came when a North Macedonian portal had attacked Edi Rama as a mafia and now why did not the Albanians of North Macedonia stand up, why did not they react in demonstrations, are declared idiots by Edi Rama and his minister.
