"Rama cannot be overthrown with a speech"/ Shehaj: Change requires step-by-step work, but there is hope

The leader of the Opportunity Party and MP Agron Shehaj said today that the change of government requires work to be carried out step by step, as according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama cannot be removed from power with just one speech.

In a television studio, Shehaj stated that corrupt politicians should be brought to justice, while also sharing the case of a former prime minister in Croatia who was sentenced to prison.

"Edi Rama cannot be overthrown with a speech. Change can be very fast, but it requires work, step by step. This is a good moment because we are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. There is hope because finally corrupt politicians are being brought to justice. They once seemed invincible. What happened in eastern countries will happen in Albania. In Croatia, the former prime minister who led the country to the EU for 15 years came out of prison with a bag of clothes in his hand. The Opportunity Party has chosen to focus on the fight against corruption and not on the internal conflicts of the opposition," said Shehaj./CNA
