From the Secretary General to the Vice Presidents/ List of candidates for the DP

At the meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party of Albania, leader Sali Berisha presented the names of the candidates for the new party leadership team.

It will be the members of the National Council who will vote for these names. During his speech, Berisha announced that in accordance with a decision of the previous National Council, two vice-presidential positions are ex-officio.

Among other things, he added that one of the vice presidents will be a representative of the youth and one of the diaspora.

Now, regarding the leadership, the vice-chairs of the Democratic Party, I would like to remind you that in accordance with a decision of the previous National Council, two vice-chair positions are ex-officio, which is also reflected in the party's statute.

Within the framework and spirit of the Assembly, it is also intended that one of the vice-presidents be a representative of the youth of the Democratic Party and Albania.

The Albanian diaspora, which is playing an extraordinary role and remains one against this dictatorship, we believe that there should be a vice-president of it in the leadership of the Democratic Party.

So I will read you the names of the people proposed for vice president: Belind Këlliçi, Luçiano Boçi, Xhonatan Pano, Nikola Kedhi, Besa Manaj, Erisa Bajaziti.

These are the candidacies for vice-president of the Democratic Party, meaning that each of these six will be elected three.
