The meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party has begun, with a focus on filling the party's leadership structures.

Council members will vote for the Secretary General, vice-chairmen, Secretariat and Appeals Committee.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of his speech, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, presented the list of names of members of the diaspora who will be part of the National Council.

Berisha stated that the following proposals were approved by the Presidency in accordance with the DP statute.

"First, I would like to inform you that, in accordance with the Statute, the Presidency of the Democratic Party approved the following proposals for the Diaspora Council, i.e. the members of the diaspora who will be part of the National Council. These proposals have come from the branches and have been supplemented here with some other proposals. I would like to inform you regarding the list of members of the National Council from the diaspora:

Alba Kepi, Aleksandër Xhufi, Alfred Fizi, Andi Mustafa, Arben Cara, Armand Dervishi, Bardhok Doda, Besa Manaj, Berti Çoku, Besnik Rama, Denis Anelaj, Edmir Çekrezi, Eduard Aliko, Esad Mulaj, Endrit Dako, Erisa Bajaziti, Erjon Dasho, Ethem Ago, Fatjon Semanjaku, Gasper Lekgega, Hasan Metuku, Ilirjan Proko, Imanuel Çaushaj, Julgjin Gjoni, Leart Vasili, Ludovik Tetaj, Melisa Braçi, Milaim Nela, Nuretdin Seçi, Petrit Fidani, Petrit Tafaj, Shkëlzen Rustemaj, Shpend Ndreu, Fimi Grinjoti, Urim Gjata, Valbona Doko, Xheraldo Dashi, Xhulian Hoxha, Xhuliana Dreshaj, Zeqir Picari.
