In today's plenary session, the MP of the Opportunity Party, Erald Kapri, focused on the criminal events of the past month.

Kapri said that the events of November show that Albania is far from being a safe country. Focusing on the Rinas assassination, where Gilmando Dani was killed, Kapri said that there was no political responsibility from the minister or resignation from the police director.

The MP stated that the Minister of Interior is incapable of holding political responsibility and cannot keep the police director under control.

Kapri said that a political solution is needed for crime in Albania, and the solution is for Prime Minister Rama to leave.

"The criminal events of this month show how far we are from a safe place. In just 30 days we have 4 criminal events and I don't understand how the minister has the audacity to say we are a safe place. In the most guarded place in Albania, a mafia assassination is carried out. There was no response, no analysis. The police director refuses to resign, the minister refuses to give an explanation. She is incapable of taking political responsibility for the position she has, because public safety has declined. It has never happened that the Ministry of the Interior did not have the police director under control. The director is not accountable to anyone.

Another reported incident, a group of teenagers stabbed each other. It's about the same as the Martin Canin incident.. then measures were taken and TikTok was closed, today no one talks about this anymore. Parents are afraid to send their children to school. Teachers are not responsible, raise your hands.

The issue of crime has reached a point where a political solution is needed. Changing the minister is not the solution. As long as we have Edi Rama, there can be no solution with organized crime. Because with them he holds power. The only solution is a vote to remove Edi Rama , "said Kapri./CNA
