Leskaj, with a request: More time in the Assembly for raising citizens'

MP Bujar Leskaj raised concerns today that citizens' problems are not being addressed sufficiently in the Parliament.

During his speech at today's plenary session, Leskaj said that there are a number of issues and problems coming from voters that are worth discussing.

Leskaj requested more time available for each MP and an extension of the minutes so that they can expand on these issues, while stating that more such sessions are needed in the future.

"This is one of the most important sessions. Now I don't understand why it was decided to last 4 hours, but you deprive the deputies of the opportunity to talk about the problems of our citizens and municipalities, when today more than ever the distance between the deputies and the voters is felt. I don't want to prejudge, but if their concerns are not raised in the Assembly, it makes no sense. It should be at least 8 hours. Then the group leaders are put in a position to determine the minutes. In 612 municipalities there are 41 basic services and 70% of the laws are implemented. Moreover, it has been about 2-3 months since such a session has been held, because it has not been held for a long time", - Leskaj. /CNA
