DP MP Belind Këlliçi asked the Assembly for information on whether there is a second request from SPAK to lift Belinda Balluku's immunity.
In a statement to the media, the leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, stated that there is no such request.
According to Balla, it is fake news and disinformation.
"There is no such request. You know that in cases of similar requests, the members of the Council for the Regulation and Mandates are immediately notified within 48 hours. I am also one of the members of the Council for the Regulation and Mandates, there is no such notification. And I understand that such fake news in these times of disinformation is daily, but I confirm that there is no such news. And while I saw with great curiosity today that in addition to the opposition, the spokesperson for the special prosecution is falsely acting as in the case in question, because I also heard a member of the Democratic Party who just said this," said Balla./ CNA
