Protests/ Zhupa: They want to stop the government that violates the Constitution

Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa spoke in Parliament regarding citizen protests, stating that they demand every day an end to what she describes as government behavior and a violation of the public interest.

Zhupa stated that the protesters are demanding respect for the Constitution and the protection of the public interest, accusing the government of, as she said, actions that violate these principles.

"Every day they are there to demand that this government and this malice and this reckless behavior violating the constitution and the public interest stop. Because you will see the most significant portrait there, the children, the next generation, who want a better Albania, who want to be a member of the EU and the most strategic investment is in nature, the environment, the cultural heritage because first and foremost we are Albanians," said Zhupa.
