"Ideals are the nuclear force of man"/ Berisha: Albanians face a regime that violates the vote and crushes the opposition

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today emphasized a message for all opposition parties, that ideals are the nuclear force of a person and a society.

Through a post on social media, Berisha shared a bit of his speech during yesterday's protest in downtown Tirana, as he stated that Albanians are in a regime that not only violates free voting, but also suppresses the country's opposition.

"We are in a regime that violates free voting, that suppresses the opposition, that thinks it will be kept afloat by violence, terror, buying, selling, bargaining. But ideals are ideals, they are more powerful. They are the nuclear force of man and society. They are the force that nothing can resist. Therefore, I invite you to this mission, to continue the battle as missionaries. Here we are," said Berisha. /CNA
