Minister Sala did not appear at the hearing/Committee meeting adjourned

The Chairwoman of the Committee on Human Rights and Public Media, Jorida Tabaku, has interrupted the committee meeting.

The interruption was due to a hearing with the Minister of Health on the 2026 draft budget, but Sala did not show up.

Tabaku stated that the minister must respect the Assembly and the budget.

" Even at budget time, we see that the minister does not come. I understand that she is new in office and has a problematic sector, but she must respect the Assembly and the budget. It is the same as if in a draft law proposed by the ministry, the directors come and not the minister or deputy ministers. Here we are talking about the budget. Today we are reviewing the budget article by article ," said Tabaku.
