"After 44 weeks in the sun and rain, we escorted Veliaj to

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, in his speech at the opposition protest, said that this protest will not stop until Prime Minister Edi Rama is sent to prison along with the arrested mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj. Këlliçi invited citizens to participate in the weekly protests.

 

"For 44 weeks in the rain and in the sun, less than 1/10 of us have been here protesting and they called us sellouts, they threw mud at us, but for 11 months we have been escorting Veliaj to Durres Prison.

The end of this protest will be that Edi Rama will be sent to Durres Prison. They lynched us in the media, they sued us for defamation, but we will also prove the theft in the Palloshi tunnel.

To remind Edi Rama and those who are paid to lynch the opposition, international media portrayed Albania as a drug-ridden country.

"We must save Albania from this great evil that has the name Edi Rama, so I invite you to gather every week," declared Këlliçi./ CNA
