Berisha: Irena Gjoka, the most authentic personification of the Albanian

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, after today's appearance at the Special Prosecution Office, gave a statement to journalists.

So, I was dismissed, she said, but you do not have the document. In November 2023, the Supreme Court gives my lawyers the Supreme Court's decision to dismiss Irena Gjoka in 1996, but two weeks later this institution lies to the DP deputies by writing that there was supposedly no decision-making by the Supreme Court in 1996. So, look, a state institution, which two weeks ago had provided confirmation of her dismissal, and even a copy of the dismissal decision, responds to the DP deputies two weeks later that such a decision does not exist because it receives the order from Edi Rama.

In December 2023, the request of my lawyers for resignation due to conflict of interest was again rejected, not because it did not already have the decision, but because according to it, this was a collegial decision, proving complete and total ignorance because the Supreme Court was chaired at the time by the President of the Republic. The Greek newspaper Ta Nea publishes in March 2024 the article that Irena Gjoka has been expelled from Greece as a forger. On March 4, 2024, the Supreme Court issues a statement in defense of Irena Gjoka, instead of investigating her.

So, he swears on the political and corrupt virginity of Irena Gjoka. Imagine what kind of institution this is. So, he swore on Irena's head. On May 4, 2024, the Saturday and Sunday of Easter, the newspaper Protothema publishes the court decision for the deportation of Irena Gjoka. On May 7, 2024, the general prosecutor's office declares that it is launching an in-depth investigation. So, for over 18 months, the in-depth investigation is kept on the shelf. On May 2, 2025, the Court of Ioannina issues the decision with an apostille stamp not only for the deportation of Irena, but also for the final criminal decision.

On May 5, 2025, I presented here before you the document with the apostille stamp, which the whole of Albania learned about and saw. On May 5, 2025, the delinquent Irena Gjoka denies having been convicted or deported from Greece in an interview she gave to the BIRN newspaper, which constitutes a public deception and in legal terms constitutes an ongoing crime.

On May 6, 2025, the 2003 power of attorney that Irena Gjoka had issued to the notary in Fier to hire a lawyer to challenge the deportation decision is published.
