Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared that he will reduce the number of deputies in the Assembly. He emphasized at the SP Assembly meeting in Durres that this should have happened earlier.

The Prime Minister further emphasized that he will call on Albanians to hold a referendum.

He underlined that the new Law on Referendums needs to be enacted within this session.

"We will reduce the number of deputies. We are late for this, but we still have the time needed to call Albanians to a referendum."

We will move forward with the referendum law. We will have time to decide for Albanians on many things.

"The new law on referendums is necessary and can be done within this session," Rama said./ CNA
