Rama: We are preparing another pillar of the pension scheme
Prime Minister Edi Rama on the podcast Flasim stated that ...

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama this Sunday of lying with his recent statements about increasing salaries and pensions.
Through a video message posted on his social networks, Berisha states that the change of about 700 lek does not change the situation of the country, which remains the country with the lowest salaries in the region, while ironically saying that this figure is equivalent to two kilograms of tomatoes per month.
According to the leading democrat, Rama boasts of an increase that is dictated entirely by high taxes and the large number of employees on the state payroll.
Berisha's full message:
Good morning, dear citizens. In his weekly deception monologue, Edi Rama once again tried to convince you that he has significantly increased salaries and pensions. The truth is that the pension bonus for 690 thousand pensioners is among the most ridiculous. It is 2 kilos of tomatoes per month. This is the pension supplement according to the current government. In addition, salaries again remain the lowest salaries in our region, while in 2013, they were the highest salaries in the region. Today, he presented the diaspora convention as a great success.
On this occasion, greeting all Albanians of the diaspora, wherever they are, even those who come to this convention, but I emphasize that your host is one of the fiercest enemies of the Albanian nation, of its existence, not in decades, but even more. I remind you, dear Albanians of the diaspora, that in just 10 years of his government, 1,099,000 Albanians have left this country according to Eurostat, and all of these are only in the Schengen area, not counting other areas. So at least 45 to 47% of Albanians left Albania and today Albania has the same birth rate as it had 100 years ago. He meticulously implemented Çubrillovi?'s platform in this country. Finally, he spoke about the reports of the European Union. He deceived again.
The truth is that IBAR, after five discussions in the relevant European Union forum, was not approved due to the blockage that Edi Rama made to the arrest of Lubi Balluku to protect himself and due to the blockage of the investigations that were carried out for the action to protect his wife and his family circle. So, we can say that this week's series of frauds was no different from the others. Likewise, he spoke about foreign investments, 1.6 billion euros. I must emphasize that of these 1.6 billion euros, according to INSTAT, 800 million are not foreign investments, but are reinvestments of Albanian money by foreign companies working in Albania. They have nothing in common with foreign investment. The rest, 30% of them are purchases by Albanians of apartments in Albania.
While 18% remain in total or about less than 300 million euros are direct investments. So real direct investments in Albania have fallen to the levels of 2004-2008 and are among the lowest of the time. Of course, buying apartments is an investment, but a fruitless investment, which does not bring employment, does not bring production. So, even in this case I must add, industrial production is in recession, agricultural production is in recession, exports have dramatically decreased. The economy, the growth with which Edi Rama's chest beats, is a growth that is dictated entirely by high taxes and the large number of employees on the state payroll. /CNA
