Berisha: Violation of the Constitution makes participation in the race debatable

DP leader Sali Berisha stated at the Presidency meeting that the Constitution has been violated and the series of its violations by the regime makes the opposition's participation in the race debatable.

"We gather today at a moment to discuss and decide the model that we will choose as the leader of the DP for the electoral race for Tirana. I want to emphasize that the flagrant violations of the Constitution by individuals and incriminated people, linked to theft and embezzlement of public property such as Rama and his puppet in the Presidency, the series of violations of the Constitution with their acts rightly make our participation in this race debatable."

"For all those who consider that we live in an authoritarian dictatorship where the constitution is a dead letter, in which the law is a worthless paper, seeking constitution and constitutionality in an authoritarian regime based on drugs is like seeking a drop of water in the desert. The principles of the constitution are immortal for a systematic order, while in a narco-dictatorship they are virtually disrespected," Berisha said./ CNA
