"There will be a political candidate"/ Bylykbashi: DP has 3 names for

Democratic MP, Oerd Bylykbashi, shared details today regarding the figure targeted by the Democratic Party as a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to A2CNN, Bylykbashi said that the DP has 3 names as possible candidates for the race for the capital.

Bylykbashi added that the opposition will first find the model, then choose the person who best fits that model.

"The focus is on finding the model that fits a series of circumstances, in function of the objective that is the victory of the elections. It will be a political candidate, on whom the parties agree. Even if he does not have the exposure of the first political row, he remains a figure that is politically invested by the opposition.

What the DP has done is to open a larger front and forge a connection between the opposition parties, which will be the guarantee of victory. We also saw in the last elections that coalitions composed of unclear interests produced conflicts for mandates.

"Our approach has been to the model that will produce the candidate. I have great respect for the three names mentioned, but these are not the only names. There are others. When we find the model, we will choose the person who best fits that model," Bylykbashi said. /CNA
