Popular trial against a mother with three children

A young woman, mother of three, continues to be publicly attacked and cursed, with photos, first and last names, by thousands and thousands of people online. They are also demanding the application of the sentence of "stoning to death" as punishment.

The hysteria started with a news story on a portal, completely one-sided, with the only source, the woman's mother-in-law. She had denounced her son's ex-daughter-in-law for abandoning the children, leaving them locked up in the house and running away. Some photos were posted online showing a completely messy apartment, looking more like a "movie set."

The punishment began immediately: "This is the monster woman who abandoned the child"! This was the most used title.

It may be true that the woman may be raising her children in very poor conditions. For these reasons, the children may even be taken away by the state social service. But, I read somewhere that she claimed that she lives in a rented house and works two jobs to raise the children alone. I think that more than accusations, she deserves help and support.

But how is it possible to unleash a river of anger against a woman? Who among you loves her children more than she does? How can a public accusation be made by pointing the finger at the "monster mother" without being sure of the truth?

Who took and who sent the photos of the house to the media? If the mother-in-law took them, how credible can the news be, when she was in a custody battle with her son's ex-daughter-in-law?

What if that woman, struggling to raise her children, instead of taking them out to beg at traffic lights in this cold weather, has chosen to lock them up at home and go to work?
What if this is a mother-in-law's plot, what is left for the people's court?

I say this, after the mother-in-law had rushed to give interviews on television to show how irresponsible the mother of the children is, "who paid 400 thousand lek for a hair dye".
By what right do you pull out a photo from the archive of the woman, in a white dress, and accuse her of living a luxurious life, while leaving the children locked inside?

In such family stories, we should not rush to identify the guilty and put them on trial. We have stoned men for "raping" girls and then bit our tongues when it turned out that it was the wife who wanted her husband deported and encouraged her daughter to denounce her father.

So hold my hand, you who write, first of all.
Perhaps, that woman and her children, more than for the popular trial, need help today.
