Works at Borsh Castle/ Plan to open as a new museum site with entrance ticket

Works are underway at Borsh Castle for an important intervention, which is expected to emphasize the historical and monumental values ??of the building.

As reported by the Ministry of Culture, the works on this castle are part of a project financed by the World Bank and implemented by the Albanian Development Fund, in collaboration with CHëB, IKTK and the Municipality of Himara.

The project for Borsh Castle envisages the conservation and stabilization of the structures, the restoration of the mosque within the castle, as well as the creation of new architectural elements, interpretive panels, an observation platform and artistic lighting.

Upon completion of the works, Borsh Castle is planned to open as a new museum site with an entrance ticket, offering visitors a new cultural destination. /CNA
