Timo Flloko, the star of Albanian cinematography and the theater stage, celebrates his 75th birthday this April 26.
Flloko remains the beloved portrait of cinema and theater, the actor of the roles that kept Albanians glued to the screen.
His numerous roles in cinematography and theater have given the actor an important place in Albanian art and culture.
He is one of the few Albanian actors who have dedicated their career to film.
Although his career has also extended to Hollywood, where he acted in several films, the actor has never forgotten Albania, but has divided his life between his homeland and America.
After returning from America, he started working as a teacher at the Academy of Arts in Tirana in the field of acting and directing.
But Flloko has never been separated from the scene and continues to give Albanian art inestimable value.
The Albanian star entered the cinema very young, only 19 years old. Timo Fllokos can be counted over 40 roles, where the uniqueness of the characters interpreted differentiates him as an artist.
His first two films were "Ngadhnjim mubi datuna" (1967) and "Why does this drum beat", but unfortunately they were banned by the regime of the time for reasons of mentality.
Despite this, Timo Flloko did not stop, he continued to play different roles, even with Kadri Roshi, Sulejman Pitarka, Robert Ndrenika and many colossus of the theater.
Some of the films in which the great actor has played are "Mountains with covered shopping", "War paths", "Poppies on the walls", "Man with a ball", "Cerçiz Topulli", "Face to face", "Encirclement of small", "Rapists" and many others.
The star of Albanian cinematography has been appreciated several times. In addition to many prestigious awards, Timo Flloko also holds the title of Meritorious Artist./ CNA.al
