Gjergji Peleshi was the son of a large family, with three other brothers and 4 sisters. He was the last of the 4 brothers to die, but he left behind many memories, verses, and above all human values.

For those who were lucky enough to know him, Gjergji was an extraordinary man, with a beautiful soul, who spoke not only with words but with songs and melodies. He never forgot Korça's beautiful serenades, which he gave so much value to with his brilliant voice, that he left as a bequest that they continue to be sung with as much love and feeling as Gjergji himself.
