Money stolen from 3 entities/ One person arrested, another wanted

One person has been arrested and another is wanted after they are accused of stealing money from 3 entities and attempting to rob 2 other entities.

Citizen JC, 31 years old, was arrested, while his father was prosecuted, after a rubber baton like those used by the Police was found on him.

Meanwhile, it is announced that citizen Xh. A., 35 years old, resident of Vora, has been declared wanted.

The Vora Police Station is finalizing the operation codenamed "Midnight".

They stole various amounts of money/products from 3 entities, and attempted to steal from 2 other entities, in recent days, 2 citizens are identified.

One of them is arrested, the other is declared wanted.

The father of the arrested person is being prosecuted after a rubber baton like those used by the police was found on him.

As a result of the rapid administration of several reports of theft/attempted theft by the owners of several entities, the services of the Vora Police Commissariat organized and finalized the codenamed "Midnight" operation to identify and bring the perpetrators to criminal responsibility.

As part of the operation, citizen JC, 31 years old, resident of Vora, was arrested and handcuffed, and citizen Xh. A., 35 years old, resident of Vora, was declared wanted.

Investigations suspect that these citizens, during the month of February, have stolen various amounts of money/products from 3 entities, as well as attempted to steal from 2 other entities, in Vora. Work is underway to uncover other thefts that these citizens may have committed.

Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen EC, 59 years old, resident of Vora, father of citizen JC, after a rubber baton like those used by the Police was found on him, which was seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. / CNA
