Convicted for drugs, weapons and concealment of income/ 4 people are extradited

The procedures for the extradition of 4 citizens, convicted/accused by the authorities in Albania and Spain, of •arms possession without permission, •cultivation, production and sale of narcotics, as well as •for hiding income are finalized.

As a result of the continuous cooperation between the Interpol offices in Tirana, Rome, Berlin and Madrid, the procedures for the extradition of citizens have been finalized:

-Salvatore Salozzo, 31 years old, born in Italy. He was extradited from Italy to Albania, after being sentenced by the Court of Tirana, to 5 years in prison, for the criminal offense of "Concealing income". The 31-year-old hid the income of his commercial company and did not pay the tax obligations to the Albanian state;

-Renald Lleshi (Canaj), 29 years old. He was extradited from Germany to Albania, after being sentenced by the Court of Saranda, with over 3 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses of "Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics". On 29.08.2017, in Saranda, the 29-year-old cooperated in wounding 3 citizens with firearms, while 9.8 kg of cannabis sativa narcotics were found in his apartment;

- Njazi Kulla, 28 years old. He was extradited from Luxembourg to Albania, after being sentenced by the Court of Tirana, with 3 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". The 28-year-old must also serve about 2 years of imprisonment from this sentence;

-L. Ll., 48 years old, born in Vlora. He was extradited from Albania to Spain, after the Court of Barcelona has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", according to the provisions of the Spanish Penal Code.

The cooperation with the European partners and not only, continues, to finalize the extraditions of detained citizens, declared internationally wanted for various criminal offences./ CNA
