The owner of the dog that bit the 4-year-old girl in Vlora has been criminally prosecuted.

The incident occurred yesterday in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, the "Pitbull" dog bit a 4-year-old girl, who was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

It is also reported that the dog has been taken into custody by the animal protection service of the Vlora Municipality.

"These same specialists referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen HB, 87 years old, resident of Vlora, after his Pitbull dog bit a 4-year-old girl in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, who received treatment in hospital and is out of danger. The dog was taken into custody by the animal protection service of the Vlora Municipality ," the police statement said. /CNA
