Suspension of 5 policemen/ AMP: They presented false facts about the vehicles in

5 police officers are suspected of abusing their duties and falsifying documents.

The Police Supervision Agency provides details on the charges against 5 police officers serving in Durrës and Fier.

Specifically, the officers with the initials EH, DV, V. Th., EB and FH have been suspended from duty

The investigation against them started in 2023 and AMP has documented evidence that the police officers, during the performance of their duties, in cooperation with each other, committed falsification of the practices for following the procedures of the means announced "Alert".

According to the AMP, they presented false facts and did not suspend the driving license of Traffic Code violators.

The Police Supervision Agency (Fier-Berat Region) has executed the decision of the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction against 5 police officers, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty" and "Forgery of documents", as below follows;

- Commissioner EH, with the duty of Head of the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section at DVP Fier, with the measure of personal security with a preventive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" and "Prohibition of exiting the country".

- Deputy Commissioner DV, on duty at the time of the commission of the criminal offense, Specialist in the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section in DVP Durrës, with the measure of personal security with a preventive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" and "Prohibition of going outside of the state", currently holds the position of Specialist for Order, in the Public Order Section, in the Kukës Police Station, in the DVP Kukës.

- Deputy Commissioner V. TH., with the duty of Service Specialist in the Section of Interurban and Urban Traffic in DVP Fier, with the measure of personal insurance with a prohibitive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" and "Prohibition of going abroad".

- Deputy Commissioner EB, on duty at the time of the commission of the criminal offense Service Specialist in the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section in DVP Fier, with the measure of personal security with a preventive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" and "Exit ban" abroad".

- Deputy Commissioner FH, with the duty of Service Specialist in the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section in DVP Fier, with the measure of personal insurance with a prohibitive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" and "Prohibition of exiting the country".

The decision of the Court came in the function of the Criminal Procedure of 2023, investigated for the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty". This procedure was followed using special methods of investigation, from which it was documented with evidence that police officers, while performing their functional duties, in cooperation with each other, committed falsification of the practices for following the procedures of the tools announced "Alert ”, by presenting false facts and not suspending the driving license of Traffic Code violators./ CNA
