He tried to kill 2 policemen in 2022/ The much-wanted Albanian is arrested in

FAST Belgium has arrested in Brussels a 38-year-old Albanian wanted internationally by Interpol Tirana.

The 38-year-old with the initials DH alias TH is accused that in 2022, in cooperation with another person, he tried to kill with firearms 2 citizen police officers, off duty.

At the time of the arrest by the Belgian Police, this citizen was presented with a different identity.     

During the physical check, the Police services found a cold weapon (knife) on him. His arrest was carried out with the aim of extradition to Albania.        

For the Albanian, the Court of the Judicial District of Vlorë has set the security measure "Arrest in prison" on December 1, 2022, for the criminal offenses "Murder under qualifying circumstances", remaining in the attempt, carried out in cooperation, and "Production and detention without permit of weapons, combat weapons and ammunition".       

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Brussels, is following the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Albania./ CNA
