The show "Në Shënjestër" has revealed new data in the investigative file where it is suspected that Barush Bregu, also known as Bajram Bregu, and a 17-year-old, both of whom are wanted, are Ragip Gila's accomplices in the Shkodra massacre.

Who is Barush Bregu?

Barush Bregu is considered one of the most problematic exponents of the criminal world and, according to investigators, has connections to Ibrahim Lici.

"In 2016, Barush Bregu was sentenced to 4 years in prison for drugs and illegal possession of weapons.

In 2018, his fingerprints were discovered on a weapon among an arsenal found at the Lici group's bases, which were raided after the murder of Fatbardh Lici, Ibrahim Lici's uncle, when the police went to inspect the site after the serious incident.

In March 2019, Ibrahim and Astrit Bilali, the father and uncle of Astmer Bilali, were executed in Shkodra, the latter known as the armed wing of Bajra, and suspicion fell on Ibrahim Lici, while Barush Bregu was suspected of being an accomplice.

But there were no official charges against them.

"In 2024, Barush Bregu escaped police pursuit after crashing his official vehicle and fleeing," reveals Në Shënjestër in the investigative file.

It is not known whether Ragip Gila was invested by the Lici family to settle scores with the already declared rival family member, Bajri, in this case Erogen Bajrovic, and why exactly he was chosen./ CNA
