Armed / Young man arrested in Tirana

A 22-year-old man has been arrested by the Tirana police after being armed. During a search of his bag, a firearm, a pistol with ammunition, was found, which he was carrying without a permit.

Police Notification

The 22-year-old was arrested and handcuffed while moving around armed with a pistol.

The firearm and ammunition were seized.

Following police operations, with the objective of identifying citizens who move armed and are a danger to citizens and public safety, Police Commissariat No. 1 finalized, as a result of the rapid administration of information obtained in the operational way, the "Village" operation.

During the operation, citizen R. Rr., 22 years old, was arrested in the village of Krrabë, where he was a resident.

During the search of his bag, 1 firearm, a pistol with ammunition, was found, which he was carrying without a permit. As soon as he saw the Police services, the 22-year-old attempted to leave, but as a result of quick operational actions, he was captured and put in handcuffs./ CNA
