Austrian citizen raped/ 2 young men are being prosecuted at large in Durrës

Police authorities have taken action in connection with the rape of a foreign citizen in Durrës.

The Austrian citizen (of Romanian nationality) AD was raped for weak motives by 5 citizens in neighborhood no. 13.

Immediately after the report, the necessary investigative actions were carried out, as a result of which two 17-year-olds who are suspected of having raped citizen AD were identified and escorted to the Police premises.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, after consultation with the prosecutor, proceedings were initiated for the two minors in a free state for the criminal offense of "Other intentional damage".

Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing to identify and bring to justice all citizens implicated in this case./ CNA
