Drug raid in Kurbin/ 221 cannabis plants destroyed, 1 arrested

During the controls in Kurbin, following the police operation "Coordination", with the aim of preventing, identifying and cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, cracked down on 2 cases of cultivation of narcotic plants in the village of Zhej, Mamurras administrative unit.

2 cases of cultivation of narcotic plants are cracked down on in the village of Zhej. 221 narcotic plants are destroyed, 108 seeds of this plant are seized.

2 citizens are arrested, 1 other is wanted, suspected perpetrators of the cultivation of narcotic plants.

For these cases:

- Citizen IS, 45 years old, was arrested, who was caught red-handed taking care of 25 narcotic plants that he had cultivated in the yard of his apartment;

- Citizen PP, 64 years old, was declared wanted and his wife, citizen AP, 56 years old, was arrested, as they are suspected of cultivating 196 narcotic plants in the yard of their apartment.

During the search of their apartment, the Police services found and seized 108 seeds of the narcotic plant Cannabis Sativa. /CNA
