Serious in Britain/ Albanian dies after being stabbed by cousin

A young Albanian man has been stabbed to death by his cousin in Leeds, Britain.

The 31-year-old perpetrator has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Leeds late last week.

The EM national is being held in custody ahead of an appearance at Leeds Magistrates' Court. He is also charged with possession of a weapon in a public place.

It comes after the death of the 26-year-old, who was found seriously injured on Cardigan Road at around 4.30pm on Friday (August 29).

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “EM, 31, has been remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, September 1). Markaj has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.” 

British police have appealed for anyone with information about the case to contact authorities. /CNA
