Lezha police have issued an official response to the rape of the former head of the DP branch in Dajç, Lezha, Sokol Toma.
The incident is reported to have occurred at 10:00 PM on May 9 on the "Mamurras-Laç" highway, near the Sandzak intersection.
Unidentified citizens raped the 53-year-old man and caused injuries to his body. The investigative group has launched an investigation to clarify the incident, seizing camera footage and is working to identify and capture the perpetrators.

In relation to the incident that occurred at around 22:00 on 09.05.2026, on the "Mamurras-Laç" highway, near the Sandzhak intersection, where still unidentified citizens hit citizen ST, 53 years old, resident of Lezha, with hard objects, causing bodily injuries, we would like to clarify that:
