The protester who demanded Veliaj's resignation yesterday is arrested

The police have arrested one of the protestors who participated yesterday in the protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana, where the resignation of Erion Veliaj was demanded. 

MH, 31 years old, a resident of Laç, was arrested by the police for the criminal offenses "Assaults due to duty", "Disturbance of public peace", "Violation of the rules on explosives and incendiary substances", and "Destruction of property" with fire".

Meanwhile, Xh. is under investigation. V., 61 years old. 

Police Notification: 

The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, in relation to the violent acts carried out during the protest held yesterday, in front of the Tirana Municipality, by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, following investigative and procedural actions and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Before the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, he arrested the citizen in flagrante delicto:

- MH, 31 years old, resident of Laç, for the criminal offenses "Assaults due to duty", "Disturbance of public peace", "Breach of rules on explosives and incendiary substances", and "Destruction of property by fire".

Also, the citizen Xh. V., 61 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Disturbing public peace".  The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office./ CNA
