The police of Korça arrested a 39-year-old wanted man on the last day at the border point of Kapshtica.

According to the police, the 39-year-old man with the initials ED surrendered at the border, after an arrest warrant was issued against him. The 39-year-old was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment, of which he has 4 years, 11 months and 18 days of imprisonment left to serve, for "Intentional serious injury resulting in death", carried out in collaboration.

Notification to the Police:

"The Korçë Local Police Directorate executed the decision of the Prosecutor's Office to detain the wanted citizen ED, 39 years old, a resident of the village of Pojan in Maliqi, who surrendered at the entrance to Albania, at the Kapshticë Border Police station.

The Korçë Court of Appeal, with the decision dated 14.11.2023, has sentenced this citizen to 6 years of imprisonment, of which he has 4 years, 11 months and 18 days of imprisonment left to serve, for the criminal offense "Grievous Wound intentionally, resulting in death", carried out in collaboration.

On 25.07.2011, in the village of Pojan, Maliq, this citizen, in cooperation with another citizen, for weak motives, injured and resulted in the death of the citizen AZ, 78 years old, and slightly injured his son.
