The G7 countries have called on Iran to immediately and unconditionally stop all attacks in the Middle East.
In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of major countries: the US, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Canada strongly condemn Iran's attacks on civilians and infrastructure, especially energy.
The countries demand an immediate and unconditional halt to the attacks, respect for security in the region, and emphasize the importance of sea lanes, especially the Strait of Hormuz, and the stability of global energy markets.
The G7 warns that it is ready to take additional measures to protect energy supplies and international security. /CNA
