German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has urged Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to continue progress in the dialogue with Serbia, in a letter of congratulations on his new governing mandate.
In the letter published by the Prime Minister's Office, Merz emphasizes that important challenges lie ahead for Kurti and his government, expressing confidence that he will make the right decisions to advance Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration.
According to the German Chancellor, a key part of this process remains the continuation of the dialogue for the normalization of relations with Serbia, mediated by the European Union.
"Challenging tasks lie ahead of you and your government. I am convinced that, with your experience, you will take the right and necessary decisions for the further Euro-Atlantic integration of Kosovo. This also includes further progress in the EU-mediated normalization dialogue with Serbia," the German Chancellor wrote./ CNA
