Trump: We will enforce the Biological Weapons Convention through artificial

President Donald Trump announced at the UN Assembly that his administration will lead "an international effort to implement the Biological Weapons Convention" through an artificial intelligence verification system.

Trump said the convention, which bans the development, production and acquisition of biological weapons, would be discussed with "the world's top leaders" and would pioneer "an artificial intelligence verification system that everyone can trust."

"As we seek to reduce the threat of dangerous weapons today, I am also calling on every nation to join us in ending the development of biological weapons once and for all," Trump told the UN General Assembly, also calling for "a cessation of the development of nuclear weapons."
