The American Embassy in Tirana has shared a notice from the US Department of State stating that even after receiving visas, checks continue for citizens who have one.
The announcement emphasizes that anyone who does not follow and comply with US immigration laws and regulations will have their visa revoked and will be deported.
"The U.S. Department of State is committed to Making America Safer through more demanding policies.
An essential measure is the continuous control of visas for all individuals, ensuring the security and integrity of our nation.
"US visa screening does not stop after the visa is issued. We continuously screen visa holders to ensure they follow all US immigration laws and regulations, and we will revoke their visas and deport them if they do not," the statement said./ CNA
