An arrested person, who is suspected of carrying out the terrorist attack in Crocus Municipality on the outskirts of Moscow, stated that he had arrived from Turkey on March 4.

The confession was published by the editor-in-chief of the "Russia Segodnya" media group and the RT TV channel.

The arrested person said that the organizers of the attack contacted him a month ago through Telegram and supplied him with weapons. He was given the task of killing all the people in the hall and was offered about one million rubles for this.

The defendant added that he committed the crime after a conversation with the "preacher's assistant".

In the published images, he has shown his name, which sounds like Fariddun Shamsutdin, as well as his date of birth, September 17, 1998.

According to the arrested, they lived in a hostel "in Dmitrovka on the highway", bought a car, "wanted to work as a taxi driver". 

Among the people he communicated with, he mentioned names that sound like "Abdulla" and "Muhammad" ./CNA
