Vetëvendosje's request for a re-vote by mail is rejected

The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel has rejected the request of the Vetvendosje Movement, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and PDAK-LPB, which had requested that postal votes for the Democratic League of Kosovo be annulled. This concerns a total of 18,933 votes.

The ECAP decision states that the complaint was deemed unfounded, as there is insufficient evidence, and was therefore rejected.

" REJECTED as unfounded is the complaint A.nr.641/2025 dated 17.03.2025 of the political entity Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV) with headquarters in Prishtina, filed against the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) with headquarters in Prishtina, No.01/727-2025, dated 15 March 2025, on the announcement of the final results of the General Elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo dated 09.02.2025, by which it requested that the results of the postal voting for the political entity Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and its candidates, a total of 18,933 votes, be annulled and that these votes be removed from the final election results, to order the CEC to repeat the postal voting in its entirety and to remove the candidates from the list of LDK candidates mentioned by name and surname in the justification of this complaint, due to the manipulation of votes received by mail and not to allow the LDK political entity to replace the removed candidates , "the ECAP decision states./  CNA
