Thaçi's lawyers are expected to withdraw, they have not been paid

Hashim Thaçi's lawyers have asked to withdraw from his defense in The Hague. 

In an announcement from the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo, it is stated that lawyers Gregory Kehoe, Joe Reeder and the team from "Greenberg Legal Associates" have requested to withdraw as they have not been paid for their services.

"Mr. Thaçi has failed to fulfill his obligations to Gregory Kehoe, Joe Reeder, Greenberg Legal Associates and members of the Greenberg support team, and Mr. Thaci was given reasonable warning by Gregory Kehoe, Joe Reederi, Greenberg Legal Associates and Greenberg Support that team members would seek termination if this obligation was not met," the Special Chambers' announcement reads. /CNA
