The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica has given the green light for the investigation of the case where the Serbian vice-president of Leposaviçi Municipality appeared to be using drugs. 

The media in Kosovo report that the Serbian president of Leposavic, Dragana Militic, consumed the narcotic substance cocaine in the offices of the municipal facility, together with a part of her staff. A video was even published from the moment when he was consuming narcotics.

"The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica announces the opinion that in relation to the publication of the video recording of the National portal, published on January 29, 2024, in order to clarify all the facts and circumstances, it has authorized the Kosovo Police - Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking (DHTN) ) in Pristina, to undertake all investigative actions related to the investigation of this case, which is related to the persons involved who are seen in the published videos, including the identification of all persons, then the collection of evidence - video recordings of the National portal , and other relevant evidence that is necessary for the investigation and clarification of this case, in terms of the criminal offense "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances" from article 267 in relation to article 275 paragraph 1 item 1.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo", it is stated in the notification of the Prosecutor's Office. /CNA
