After several breakdowns in two days with the German government plane, the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock had to interrupt the planned trip to the Indo-Pacific region. The decision was made on Tuesday morning.
"We checked and planned until recently and unfortunately it was no longer possible to continue with the available options for travel stops in the Indo-Pacific after the departure of the government aircraft," said a spokesman for the German Foreign Office.
The green politician had planned a several-day trip to Australia, New Zealand and the Republic of the Fiji Islands.
Travel was due to continue on Tuesday on a regular flight to Sydney from Abu Dhabi where it was staying due to the fault, but the solution was not practicable, delegation sources said.

Even before, there have been repeated cases of malfunctions with government planes causing reactions in Germany.
On a trip by Foreign Minister Baerbock to the countries of the Persian Gulf in May, due to technical problems the Airbus plane could not take off and Baerbock had to extend the trip by one day in Qatar./ DW
