Massacre during the concert/ The balance of victims in Russia deepens

The death toll from the attack in Russia has deepened.

The FSB reported on Friday evening that the shooting and fire took place before a concert at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.

According to the latest data from the Russian Investigative Committee, 133 people have lost their lives.

On the other hand, the editor-in-chief of the media group "Rossiya Segodnya" and the TV channel "RT", Margarita Simonyan, reported that the number of victims of the terrorist attack in Crocus had increased to 143. Also, there were hundreds of injured.

We recall that some people caused a massacre during a concert in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow.

The attack has been claimed by the Islamic State, but Russian authorities have pointed the finger at Ukraine. 

According to them, 4 out of 11 of the arrestees "intended to cross over to Ukraine" and had "contacts with the Ukrainian side".

That statement was denied by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who said his country had "absolutely nothing to do with these events"./ CNA
