Gjatë një konference për mediat ajo deklaroi se “kishte një vizion për një ekonomi me taksa të ulëta dhe me rritje të lartë ekonomike".
Truss tha se ajo i ka paraqitur dorëheqjen Mbretit dhe zgjedhjet për kryetarin e ardhshëm të Partisë Konservatore do të zhvillohen brenda një jave.
Liz Truss bëhet kështu kryeministrja me mandatin më të shkurtër në historinë e Britanisë së Madhe, duke dhënë dorëheqjen vetëm gjashtë javë pasi mori detyrën./REl
