Ndërsa OKB-ja i bën thirrje Izraelit të zbatojë urdhërin që civilët të largohen nga qyteti i Gazës, gazetari Nick Beake i BBC-së ka biseduar me një të mbijetuar të masakrës së Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

Gjatë intervistës me 22-vjeçaren Neta Portal në një spital në Tel Aviv, ku mjekët tani kanë hequr me kujdes çdo plumb në këmbën e saj të majtë dhe një nga e djathta, ajo u shpreh e prerë se një pushtim tokësor izraelit në Gaza tani është i justifikuar.

Ajo dridhej teksa kujtonte se si rrëshqiti dhe humbi vetëdijen pasi personat e armatosur hynë në dhomën e sigurt të banorëve në komunitetin hebre Kfar Aza dhe hapën zjarr për herë të parë.

"Ata po qëllonin njerëzit. Ata po qëllonin fëmijët. Dhe njerëzit bërtisnin "ju lutem jo, ju lutem jo". U përpoqa të zgjohesha sepse nuk doja të vdisja. Ju doni të vërtetën? Unë nuk e dua më Hamasin në jetën time. Ne duhet t'i shkatërrojmë ata një nga një. Ne duhet të jemi të fortë", u shpreh e mbijetuara./CNA
