Haley officially announces withdrawal from the presidential race / Her words for Trump

Nikki Haley has officially announced that she is ending her campaign for the presidential race.

"I am filled with gratitude for the support we have received from all over our great country. But now the time has come to suspend my campaign. I wanted the voices of Americans to be heard. I have done it. I have no regrets." she said during her statement in South Carolina.

She warned Americans of the trouble ahead, saying "the world is on fire."

The former governor of South Carolina emphasized some of the issues she sees as problematic, such as the threat of the national debt to the American economy, the need for a small government and the importance of standing close to Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel.

Haley also congratulated Donald Trump, who, she said, will be the Republican Party's presumptive presidential nominee.

"Now it's up to Donald Trump to win the vote of those who support our party and those who don't. And I hope he does," she added./ CNA
