Trial in The Hague/ Veseli's lawyer: He is innocent, the prosecution's submission should be rejected

Kadri Veseli's defense attorney, Rodney Dixon, continued his speech today in the closing sessions of the trial in The Hague.

Dixon said that Veseli deserves a fair verdict and he should be found not guilty of all charges. He further said that if Veseli is not found not guilty it would be a great injustice, as there are many things that could completely prove the innocence of the former KLA leader.

Dixon has requested that the prosecution's submission be dismissed.

"Vesel deserves a fair and just decision; he should be acquitted and declared innocent of all charges. If the opposite happens, it would be a great injustice. And, on the other hand, there are many points that can prove that my client is completely innocent. We submit that the prosecution's submission be completely rejected ," said the lawyer.
