Two people have been detained as suspects for the tragic accident that happened on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway, at the exit of Prizren.

The Kosovo Police confirmed this in a statement to the Kosovar media.

"Regarding the case of the accident with fatal consequences that happened on the highway, after the initial arrest of a suspect, a second suspect was identified and arrested today. After interviewing the suspect, by order of the prosecutor, he is detained for 48 hours," says their answer.

The three people died on Saturday evening on the highway "Ibrahim Rugova", in Prizren. It is reported that these three people were watching a race between cars. This has been confirmed by the Kosovo Police.

According to the Police, one of the people participating in the car race allegedly lost control over the car and as a result hit the three victims.
