Interior Minister Taulant Balla at the Civil Society Forum in Prague at the Leaders' Summit of the Berlin process spoke about the developments in the north of Kosovo.

He said that Albania strongly condemns the violent armed attack against the Police of the Republic of Kosovo on September 24.

According to him, this attack is a criminal and dangerous act of aggression against the stability, integrity, independence, law and order of Kosovo, but not only.

"The Russian invasion has emphasized the geopolitical importance of the Western Balkans even among skeptics, who have realized, I hope so, that the Russian presence and influence in the Western Balkan region can be mitigated by fully integrating the Western Balkans into the EU.

But there is also a new geopolitical context related to the recent situation and the provocations in the north of the Republic of Kosovo, which - I want to underline once again - that Albania condemns in a more severe manner the violent armed attack against Police of the Republic of Kosovo on September 24. This attack is a criminal and dangerous act of aggression against the stability, integrity, independence, law and order of Kosovo, but not only," said Balla, at the conference attended by the Interior Minister of Kosovo, Sveçla./ CNA
