PHOTO/ Israel continues the bombings in Gaza, 20 dead children, search for survivors among the ruins

Israel continues its attacks on the Gaza Strip while the UN calls for the evacuation of the civilian population from the area. 

According to Al Jazeera , in the last 24 hours, Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 256 people, including 20 children, and injured 1,788 others.

A correspondent for the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli forces targeted the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City and the Red Crescent al-Quds Hospital, where hundreds of families took shelter seeking protection from Israeli bombardment.

The shelling also destroyed dozens of homes and residential buildings across the Gaza Strip, WAFA reported.

Meanwhile, Nasser and Abu Yousef al-Najjar hospitals in the south are no longer able to help the wounded after they were damaged by the attacks./ CNA
